Srinagar to Leh
2 day bus journey from Srinagar to Leh includes night stay in Kargil. The government run Bus start its journey at 8:00 AM. Usually, one bus travels between Srinagar and Leh but if there are more passengers, another bus travels the next day. Private bus operators also run buses at tariff of around INR 1000 or more. Delhi to Leh
Buses from Delhi to Leh via Manali. There is a night halt at Keylong and the next morning, the journey continues to Leh. the bus begins its journey from the ISBT Station of New Delhi at 3:45 PM, At 9:30 PM, there is a stoppage in Chandigarh and then next day’s morning at Kullu at 6:30 AM. It reaches Manali 10 in the morning.After a small break, the bus restarts journey to Keylong. Then, early morning of next day at 5:00 AM, the bus starts for Leh, reaches Leh the same day, at 7:00 in the evening. These buses are operated by HPTDC.
Manali to Leh
On Leh-Manali route, there are two bus services that run as HRTC buses and HPTDC Semi Deluxe Tourist buses. HRTC ones are normal public transport buses which do not stop for sightseeing on the way. There is a stopover at Keylong for night halt, dinner as well as breakfast. The next day, early morning at 6:00 AM, the bus resumes its journey for Leh.
Leh to Pangong
Every Saturday and Sunday, bus from Leh to Pangong, leaves Leh at 6: 30 AM. Apart from this, there is another bus services that goes to Tangste on every Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday. The fair of buses approx from Leh to Pangong is INR 250.
Leh to Nubra Valley
Bus start at 8:00 AM, from Leh to Nubra valley on every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. The return journey takes place the nest day at 7’o clock in morning and fair of journey is INR350.
