Happy Valley is the estate of Tea in Darjeeling. One fine creation of these colonial times is the Happy Valley; it is the 2nd oldest estate in Darjeeling. It is known to produce best quality of tea in India and denoted as a land of the best growing tea in the World, which goes by the name ‘Super Fine Tippy Golden Flowery Orange Pekoe.
Time of Opening
In a week, Tuesday and Saturday, this estate is open for visitors from morning 8’clock to evening 4 PM.
There is no entry fee for visiting; however visitors need to pay some amount to the guide on the tour.
Best time to Visit
Darjeeling is the travelled throughout the year. Summer months are highly suitable for hikes through the plantations and nature trails. Darjeeling is a hill station, winter season is also good for visitors but in Monsoon there is heavy rainfall so n that time must avoid to travelling to there.

By Air- Bagdogra airport is the nearest airport, which 95 kms away from Darjeeling. It is connected few cities.
By Rail- New Jalpaiguri is nearest railway station and it connected to major cities of India including Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore etc.
By Road- Gangtok and Kalimpong are the most likeable destination to start a road journey to Darjeeling.
