PRESENT PERFECT TENSE

Identification : End of sentences must be Chuka Hai, Chuki Hai, Chuke Hai.

RULE FOR SIMPLE SENTENCE

[Sub + has/have + V3 + Object]

Has =Subj Singular,Have =Subj Plural and I

  1. We have done this work.
  2. Girls have plucked flower.
  3. Neelam has gone to school.
  4. My mother has cooked food.
  5. Ravi has gone to GMA.

RULE FOR NEGATIVE SENTENCE

[Sub + has/have + not + V3 + Object.]

  1. We have not done this work.
  2. Girls have not plucked flower.
  3. Neelam has not gone to school.
  4. My mother has not cooked food.
  5. Ravi has not gone to GMA.

RULE FOR INTERROGATIVE SENTENCES

[Has/Have + Sub + V3 + Object?]

  1. Have we done this work?
  2. Have Girls plucked flower?
  3. Has Neelam gone to school?
  4. Has my mother cooked food?
  5. Has Ravi gone to GMA?

RULE FOR INTERROGATIVE + NEGATIVE SENTENCE

[Has/Have + Sub + not + V3 + object?]

  1. Have we done not done this work?
  2. Have girls not plucked flower?
  3. Has Neelam not gone to school?
  4. Has my mother not cooked food?
  5. Has Ravi not gone to GMA?

 RULE FOR WH-QUESTION SENTENCE

 [Wh-Words + have/has + Sub + V3 + Object?]

  1. Why have we done this work?
  2. What have girls plucked flower?
  3. When has Neelam gone to school?
  4. Why has my mother cooked food?
  5. Why has Ravi gone to GMA?

RULE FOR INFINITIVE SENTENCE = TO + V1

[Sub + has/have + gone + to + V1 + Object.]

  1. We have gone to do this work.
  2. Girls have gone to pluck flower.
  3. My mother has gone to cook the food.
  4. He has gone to slept in your room.
  5. I have gone to taught in my academy.

RULES FOR QUESTION TAG SENTENCE

[Sub+has/have+V3+Object, has/have+not + sub?]

  1. We have done this work, have not we?
  2. Girls have plucked flower, have not girls?
  3. My mother has cooked the food, has not my mother?
  4. You have washed clothes, have not you?
  5. He has played in playground, has not he?
